British Birds – Heron

Part of a limited edition series featuring five of my favourite British Birds. The prints were originally created with ink and watercolour and are indigo printed onto 200gsm Fedrigoni Tintoretto watercolour paper. All are signed by the artist.

Herons are long legged, fish eating birds with a giant 6 foot wingspan. Their S shaped neck is incredibly dexterous (and fun to draw) and can be used to explode forward to catch their prey, or tuck up into their body to keep warm.
